Nic's airport shuttle bus arrived at 9.15am, and we said our farewells.
The Yanmar mechanic turned up at 9.45am to fix our cone clutch problem, and within an hour had the clutch assembly out of the sail drive and took it back to the workshop to repair it.
Smithy had organised one of the Shaggers cars from 11.30 am till 2.30pm, so we could go shopping for our heavy grocery items, beverages and a general restocking. I organised with the mechanic to meet him back at the boat after 2pm, so the repaired clutch assembly could be reinstalled.
In the meantime, the marina reservations girl called and told us they had found us a berth through till 15th Sept, but we would have to move from our current berth (not very far). We agreed to move this afternoon when the sail drive was functioning again.
No need for snorkelling at our current marina berth, there is coral growing on the marina
It appears the marina is very busy, as lots of people are sitting out the next 5-6 days until the winds abate.
At 3.15 pm we received a SMS from Nic letting us know she had arrived home safely.
Steve and Kim came around for Sundowners, deciding to come in their dinghy, as the walk between the North and South Marina is a long way. We ordered a pizza for dinner and had an early night.
